Dan Blue III was named as a winner of the Triangle Business Journal’s Corporate Counsel of the Year Awards for 2015, unveiled on September 15. The Corporate Counsel awards recognize outstanding attorneys who keep the business world running. These are lawyers, often working in-house, who are leaders in the Triangle business community, and who have been involved in various charities and philanthropic activities in the Triangle. The event is now in its third year.
“I am honored to be recognized, along with my firm, for the advice and services that we provide to our business clients,” says Mr. Blue. “Although I am outside counsel, my clients consider me to be an integral part of their teams, and I thank them for calling on me to help their organizations thrive and flourish.”
“From general litigation to intellectual property protection and commercial disputes, the 2015 class of Corporate Counsel winners are working each and every day to protect the interests of their organizations,” says Jason Christie, publisher of Triangle Business Journal. “And yet, they remain behind the scenes for the most part. We are glad this event is available for the Triangle corporate community to acknowledge the winners’ accomplishments.” The winners will be honored at an awards luncheon Oct. 22 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end around 1:30 p.m.
